Fall Fun!

Fall has come in full force! In fact, we kinda skipped fall for a few days and went straight to winter.  We had our first snow and I was incredibly upset about it! My Lupus doesn't do all that great in the cold weather so I'm glad the snow melted and it went back to 50-60 degree weather!

First snow.  The deer was fun to see, the snow was not!

We had a fun friend come to play one day. We love Maggie!

General Conference is the first weekend in October each year.  Such an awesome time!

Fall soups and Pumpkin Whoopie Pies. MMM!

Papou treated us to a trip to the Pumpkin Patch! The kids were so excited to see all the pumpkins and kept trying to pick them all up :)

Cold days means we need to find activities to do inside.  We tried coloring out.  Liv LOVED it and was actually really good at it....Street just mostly colored all over the counters and stuck crayons in his mouth and up his nose :)

We had a fun couples Halloween Party with Rick's family and some of Micah's family

Sam and Jordan were Mary Poppins and Bert

Megan and Cam were cool skeletons

Micah and Carly were "hashtag" and Day of the Dead, respectively

Rick and I were Goofy and Clarabelle Cow.  Our costumes will be much cooler once we have our cute kids dressed up too :)

Carly made Harry Potter Butter Beer and it was AMAZING!

I road tripped it down to Cedar City for Easton's football game and Sage's baby blessing.  Football is one of my favorite things about fall! Rick wasn't able to come so I took the kids by myself! Luckily Tannon's girlfriend Brookley rode down with me to help out :)

We stopped at the Petting Zoo in Scipio to let the kids stretch their legs

Before the game started

Daci was in heaven with all of Daysha's sisters. She thought she was one of the big girls :)

Easton down on the field

Street was a whiny stinker the whole game.  Come to find out they had ear infections while we were there :(

Despite the ear infection, Liv was a happy little camper watching the game.  Brookley even gave her her first pigtails to go along with her attitude :)

Liv is very cautious of new people.  This is the first time they have seen Easton since Dec when they were just 11 months old so Liv was a little wary.  I love the look she is giving him! HAHA

Daci was so proud of Easton :)
I got to snuggle with this adorable girl after the game. Seriously...how cute is she!?

The next morning was Sage's blessing.  It was so fun to see all the friends and family that came!

Street screamed bloody murder the WHOLE ride back from Cedar.  I knew something was up (even though he tends to cry like that a lot ;) ) so I took them into the dr the next morning.  Sure enough, they both had double ear infections.  This is the part of fall/winter that is NOT fun.  Bring on the multiple ear infections!

Our house progress

We are so excited to be building a home! They started to dig our hole on August 15th and oh how we loved that hole :)

One week later, on August 22, the foundation was poured.

Then, they didn't do anything again for two weeks (that was a long two weeks!).  They poured the cement for the garage and installed the window wells.

Then finally on Sept 17th they started framing!

Framing has gone really fast, four days later they had the basement completely framed, and the first floor started.

On Sunday, the 29th we got to go in it for the first time.  The first floor was finished but there were a few mistakes that they made, so they still have to redo those.  It was frustrating, but hear its just part of the building process and you just have to be patient :)

Yesterday, the 30th, we went back up and they had started on the second story. Wahoo!  A few more days and the whole thing will be framed!

The only downside I have been able to find about building up here is there are a lot of spiders (black widows and tarantulas are the ones I am most afraid of!). Well, we had our first encounter with a tarantula when we went up on SUnday.  EWWWW! But, it was kinda cool to see one in person :)
