What you've all been waiting for.....I know it :)

Remember this bad boy?  Well you can read all about my remodel of the left side here: http://streebor.blogspot.com/2011/05/two-months-downand-im-still-not-done.html.  The left side took me two months.  I decided to start the right side and was bound and determined to finish it faster, I mean it is about 1/8 of the size of the left side, right?  Well, I started it July 7, and I finished it October 7th.  Wow, thats kinda pathetic.  However in my defense, it has been crazy around here what with my pregnancy, painting the whole upstairs, crafting, a Utah trip, and all that mommy mumbo jumbo that I do on a daily basis.  Anyway, I may be a slow poke, but its done! (Well, the downstairs is done.....but we won't talk about the upstairs banister right now! HA!)

After sanding it down on July 7th

And the finished product!!!

So what do you think?  This could be my single most proud renovation I have done.  Seriously, re-doing a banister is a TON of work!  It looks like it is black in this photo, but it is a dark walnut color.  I am soooo happy with how it turned out!

And who is in the mood for some fall festivities?  I have never decorated my home for holidays.  I guess I always felt like I couldn't justify spending the money when I lived in rentals but now I am so sad I never did!  PLUS I still haven't spent hardly any money on my fall decorations, I made most of them and it has added some fun flavor to our home!

On my kitchen table I have a table runner my mom gave me a few years ago.  I sprinkled fall leaves in my new tray and made myself some candy corns.  Thanks to my friend Jenna and her tutorial: http://jjreynoldsfamily.blogspot.com/2011/09/candy-corn-decor-tutorial.html

I also sprinkled leaves on my hutch and put out some cute Halloween candle holders that I bought last yr after the season for $1!

I have been in the baking mood.  Most people know that I love anything pumpkin!  My friend, Gentri, posted this recipe on her blog and it is TO.DIE.FOR!  Of course, I make it gluten free for my family and it is still SCRUMPTIOUS!  Love it!!

I made a "BOO" banner that I saw on pinterest to string across the top of my hutch

And of course my "must haves" for the season. Marshmallow Creme pumpkins in my cute new candy corn dish found in the $1 section at Target!

OMG, sooo much cuteness! I love all the decor and great job on the ones you made. The yarn candy corns look fabulous! Also, I love your banister, I can tell that was a ton of work. Sanding those things alone must have taken forever. And I think I'm gonna have to go to my target and hope they have those candy corn dishes, I'm kinda obsessed with candy corn this year. It all looks great! :)
