Look What I Missed.....

I guess its true what they say, babies really do change on a daily basis.  I never really noticed until I missed two and a half days of their lives!  I went on a special trip to Dallas, TX with Daci.  My mom won a prestigious award with her company, Close To My Heart, and they flew us out to surprise her on stage when they presented her with the award at their national convention....post on that amazing experience later.  Anyway, before I left, Liv was pulling herself up on all fours and rocking back and forth.  This morning I was playing with them on the floor, and was surprised when she showed off her new trick!

Before I left

This morning...

It is so funny to see Livvi doing all this "heavy lifting" stuff.  We called her the "blob baby" for so long because she didn't seem to care to do much.  She was just content laying on the ground all day and hated it when we put her on her tummy.  But then, she started rolling, and now she never stops!  She rolls from one end of the room to the other all day long.  She will spot a toy and roll herself over and over until she gets to it.  She will reach and stretch as far as her little body will go to try and get a toy. And in her crib she rolls around and around and around like a fish caught on a hook to entertain herself.  It is quite funny to watch.  And now, she finds something she wants, and she tries with all her might to get to it.  She'll literally pop up onto her knees, and then dives into a face plant over and over until she gets to it.  She is my little go-getter!  Love you, Liv!

Thanks for always doing such a great job documenting all of the things we miss being so far away. Yay, Livvi! Here comes trouble!

I love how she pops up so fast! holy cow...she's a pro! I am loving this stage right now. getting their own personalities and all. so fun! Z is rolling like crazy in her crib and constantly on all 4's. She even had her first "boo boo" when she was suppose to be sleeping I guess she face planted right into the side of the crib. I ran in there when I heard her screaming bloody murder and now she has this massive bruise on her face. so sad! they try so hard to crawl now huh?! it's so cute!
